Recycling is an eternal theme. 2022 is an extraordinary year. A sudden Russia-Ukraine war plunged the entire Europe into an energy crisis. The shortage of raw materials has become the biggest concern for every manufacturer. Against this background, the prices of various recycled foam have also increased. Recycling foam waste has become a trend, which can also be reused as an energy source.
INTCO Recycling has been committed to helping every foam manufacturer maximize the use of waste foam scraps. The Slovak company Mapo S.R.O purchased a GREENMAX PE foam densifier M-C50 from INTCO Recycling in 2016, with the attitude of trying to process PE waste of which a monthly output does not exceed two tons. The founder of Mapo, Mr. Matus, said that as a medium-sized packaging material manufacturer, they do not produce much PE foam scraps. However, for the purpose of protecting the environment and practicing sustainable development, he still decided to recycle his 2 tons of PE foam scraps every month and then hand them over to a recycling company for processing and reuse. Since purchasing this PE foam densifier from GREENMAX, Mapo has recycled nearly 100 tons of PE foam. During this period, the team of INTCO also maintained close contact with Mapo to discuss the latest foam recycling solutions.
After the outbreak of COVID-19, the fast-moving consumer goods and logistics industries have developed rapidly, and the demand for packaging has surged in various industries. As a result, the business of Mapo has continued to grow, naturally producing more PE foam waste. The previously purchased GREENMAX PE foam densifier M-C50 can no longer meet the needs of its existing PE foam recycling capacity. Therefore, in 2021, Mapo contacted the INTCO Recycling team again to seek a second cooperation. Based on the current situation and needs of Mapo, INTCO responded quickly and provided a new GREENMAX PE foam densifier M-C100, which can carry out professional EPE sheet and PE film recycling in one machine. This machine perfectly fits Mapo's requirements and has been specially customized to meet Mapo's growing PE recycling needs.
The second cooperation between Mapo and INTCO Recycling confirms INTCO’s professionalism in the field of foam recycling. As an expert in foam recycling, INTCO has laid a solid foundation in machinery, accumulated rich recycling experience, and developed a variety of foam recycling machines to help customers from all over the world solve waste foam recycling problems. Taking Mapo as an example, after recycling PE foam waste, the warehouse returned to a clean and tidy state while reducing safety hazards. In addition, PE ingots are sold to recyclers, bringing additional revenue to Mapo, which turning PE scrap into a source of income. From an economic and environmental perspective, Mapo has achieved its goals.
INTCO is committed to foam recycling, and we sincerely hope to work with more companies to promote the business of global foam recycling.
