With the global push to reduce plastic waste, many countries are contemplating bans on single-use plastics, including PSP lunch boxes made of EPS foam. In response to this growing concern, INTCO Recycling has pioneered its own machinery brand, GREENMAX, along with an EPS foam recycling closed-loop industry chain. This initiative has enabled numerous PSP meal boxes manufacturers to demonstrate to relevant government bodies that these boxes can be effectively recycled and reused, thereby achieving Manufacturer's Responsibility Performance (MRP) through equipment and industrial chain integration.
Plastlit, a prominent PSP meal boxes manufacturer in Ecuador, faced significant challenges in recycling dirty PSP meal boxes. The country's dissatisfaction with the inability to recycle these boxes led to the adoption of restrictive policies. However, Plastlit struggled to find a substitute product with comparable price and performance.
Recently, during their visit to the GREENMAX booth at the K Show in Germany, Plastlit discovered GREENMAX extensive experience in EPS foam recycling spanning nearly two decades. GREENMAX showcased its success in using foam recycling solutions to assist Indonesian PSP meal boxes manufacturers in cleaning and recycling meal boxes, transforming them into new products such as photo frames, mirror frames, and building materials. Intrigued by this prospect, Plastlit engaged in detailed discussions with GREENMAX to explore viable solutions for recycling PSP lunch boxes.
Despite facing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project resumed as conditions improved. Plastlit continued its dialogue with GREENMAX engineers to refine functional and site requirements. After meticulous planning, GREENMAX engineers successfully designed a customized foam recycling pelletizing machine tailored to Plastlit's needs. The specialized equipment offered a comprehensive foam recycling solution, integrating cleaning and pelletizing processes. Following thorough discussions and confirmations, Plastlit was satisfied with the proposed solution and proceeded to place an order for the GREENMAX foam recycling pelletizing machine, thereby realizing the regeneration cycle of PS lunch boxes.
